Great delivery guy who went the extra mile and dropped off these heavy sleepers at garage behind my house (up a narrow lane). Super quick and very good-humoured. Will Be Using Again
Found exactly what we wanted here as well as a lot besides. We have bought a number of used scaffold boards at a good price. They also have new boards as well as new and used sleepers. They also have a mountain of barrels and half barrels. I think we will definitely keep them in mind and make some more purchases before long. Damien was very helpful via Chat and was very friendly when we met him on site.

Easy To Order
Great service. Easy to order great pricing. Was able to buy something perfect for the project I was doing. The turnaround was really fast and the delivery was outstanding with the driver keeping me updated. Unfortunately I was unable to be in during the delivery but he communicated with me with photos asking me where I wanted the order dropped. The wood was left in exactly the right place supported on scrap pieces for protection. He even offered to remove the note on the door left to tell him we weren’t in. Great range of products well priced. Fast turnaround and outstanding customer service on delivery. Will definitely use David’s Timber again 👍

Found these guys on Ebay and can not fault them for service and delivery. They cut the cost of delivery due to having another order in the area, I assume! Delivery men put the sleepers in the garage since my wife was alone at home. They were great and did what was asked. Would recommend them to others and wish them all the best!

Yes, we do deliver. For small/medium orders we deliver up to 200 miles from our yard at LU63QT using a dropside/tipper Transit van (unloading by hand). For large orders and wholesale we deliver using either a rigid hiab lorry or articulated loads and can deliver nationwide. In order to deliver using an artic load, we require on the other end a forklift/telehandler and enough space for unloading.
We deliver Monday - Saturday. Prior to delivering we arrange the delivery date together with customers so that it suits both sides. The delivery driver/office also always calls on the day before leaving our yard to let the customer know the ETA.
Yes, we can crosscut timber to your specifications. We charge £6 per cut on the reclaimed sleepers (chainsaw cut), £5 per cut on the new sleepers (mitre saw cut) and £3 per cut on the boards and the posts (circular saw cut). Prices excluding VAT.
Yes, collection within our opening hours is absolutely fine. Please call us beforehand to make sure that your order is ready for collection. We are at the top of Falcon Freight's yard on the A5, LU63QT, Dunstable. If collection is done with a dropside/tipper van/lorry then we would load it using a telehandler. Alternatively, if that would be a closed van or a car, then we would assist to load manually.
Please feel free to drop by the yard within our opening hours and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you onsite. You will find our yard on the A5, at the top of Falcon Freight's yard, LU63QT in Dunstable. Unfortunately we do not provide samples.
Unfortunately no, however, if you are in the radius of +/- 50 miles from Dunstable then please get in touch and we would recommend you a list of great local landscaping companies which could take care of your garden.
It is our grading system, beginning with the top condition sleepers (the most square, true to size and the least cracked) and ending with the lowest condition ones (more rounded, and more cracked)
